Ted Shelton has been a part of the Silicon Valley technology field for thirty years. Over the course of his career he has started companies, served as an executive and board member, worked in venture capital and as an individual investor, and consulted with companies on innovation strategies. Ted has served as Chief Strategy Officer for Borland Software, as an Entrepreneur-in-residence for Mohr Davidow Ventures, as a Managing Director in PwC’s strategy practice and is currently an Expert Partner with Bain & Company. Ted’s career spans five major technology transitions including “web 1.0,” social media, cloud computing, smart phones, and most recently automation and AI. During each of these periods Ted has contributed to the understanding of how companies must innovate and transform in response to these new technologies including authoring a book “Business Models for the Social, Mobile, Cloud” published in 2013 by John Wiley & Sons.
