Gwen Cooper is the Founder & CEO of Cooper Solutions LLC, a leadership consulting firm in the San Francisco Bay area, and a former Directorate of Operations CIA officer. Gwen focuses on evolving leaders and their organizations’ ecosystems to meet rapid, complex challenges. With over 25 years of global experience in leadership development and coaching, learning and development and organizational change, she has provided solutions in the areas of creating coaching cultures, virtual and just-in-time leadership program design and delivery, and in applying design thinking and neuroscience to the practice of people and digital transformations. As a former leadership coach in PwC’s Leadership Coaching Center of Excellence, Gwen drove professional development for over 500 firm leaders during the firm’s digital transformation. She currently serves as both an IDEO University (IDEO U) design thinking coach for virtual courses Leading for Creativity and Designing Strategy, and a mastermind coach for the World Business & Executive Coaching Summit (WBECS) Accelerating Coaching Excellence (ACE) program led by David Peterson, head of Google’s Leadership and Executive Coaching.
Gwen is currently writing a book connecting how leaders can apply lessons from the real-life stories of CIA officers to enhance their managerial skills. Gwen has lived in Europe and the Middle East, and has traveled to almost 50 countries.
