Christopher Covert is a former Silicon Valley software engineer-turned-designer-turned-innovation strategist. At Microsoft, he is a Director in Digital Advisory Services where he sits at the intersection between business and technology and pushes innovation through human-centered design. As a graduate of Stanford University, Chris has a M.S. in Aerospace Engineering with a focus in vehicular autonomy and machine learning. He has sat behind a computer at several start-ups, Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab, and SpaceX. His passion for corporate strategy and bringing the users to the design table pushed him on a new career path, where he has helped transform a wide variety of customers in space, AI, and Defense industries.
